nVent Raises 2026 Outlook As Quarterly Sales Rise 44%

nVent Electric plc increased its full-year sales and earnings forecasts in third-quarter results released on October 30, 2026. The company’s earnings release put its 2026 reported sales-growth outlook at 48%–49%, compared with the previous range of 37%–39%. The quarterly results cover continuing operations for the period ending September 30.

For organic sales, which exclude the effects of acquisitions and currency movements, nVent’s revised annual growth forecast is 38%–39%, versus 32%–34% previously. Its full-year diluted earnings forecast under generally accepted accounting principles, or GAAP, is now $4.54–$4.57 per share, replacing a $4.29–$4.39 range. On an adjusted basis, the company forecast diluted earnings of $5.36–$5.39 per share, compared with its earlier projection of $5.00–$5.10. nVent classifies adjusted earnings per share as a non-GAAP measure.

In the completed third quarter, net sales reached $1.515 billion, according to nVent, compared with $1.054 billion in the corresponding 2025 period. That represented a 44% increase. The company’s organic sales measure also showed growth of 44% for the quarter.

Quarterly diluted earnings were $1.23 per share, a year-over-year increase of 68%. Using its adjusted measure, nVent recorded diluted earnings of $1.52 per share, 67% above the year-earlier level.

The company also provided projections for the final quarter of 2026. Its fourth-quarter outlook calls for reported sales to grow 45%–48%, with organic growth of 26%–29%. For that period, nVent forecast diluted earnings per share of $1.13–$1.16 under GAAP and $1.30–$1.33 on its adjusted, non-GAAP basis.

Investing.com reported on October 30 that nVent’s shares declined 4.6% as investors assessed the outlook. Its account did not establish that either the results release or the increase in guidance caused the share-price decline.

According to nVent’s investor-relations announcement, the third-quarter financial-results release was posted to the company’s investor-relations website on October 30.
