Compass Pathways plc announced the launch of a new educational initiative for healthcare providers, “Change the Tune in TRD,” during Psych Congress 2026 in New Orleans, which took place from September 14 to 19, 2026.

The campaign was introduced through a three-panel session on September 15, 2026, at the congress, aiming to address treatment-resistant depression (TRD) among U.S. healthcare professionals.

The program brings together specialists from psychotherapy, general psychiatry, and interventional psychiatry to discuss the neurobiology of TRD, care pathways, and methods for clinicians to recognize TRD in patients.

Compass Pathways stated that the campaign seeks to improve early and consistent identification of TRD by offering digital resources and perspectives from key opinion leaders in the field.

The company’s COMP360 psilocybin program for TRD has received Breakthrough Therapy designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Innovative Licensing and Access Pathway designation in the United Kingdom.

Compass Pathways is conducting what it states is the world’s largest classic psychedelic clinical program in TRD and is progressing with late-stage clinical trials of COMP360 for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD.
