Palantir Posts 96% Revenue Growth, Raises 2026 Outlook
Palantir’s revenue reached $2.313 billion for the third quarter of 2026, a 96% increase from a year earlier, according to results the company published on November 2. Revenue for the quarter ended September 30 was also 20% above the preceding quarter, and Palantir raised its revenue forecasts for the full year.
Among U.S. customers, commercial revenue totaled $984 million, a year-over-year increase of 148%. Government revenue in the United States was $953 million, or 96% higher than a year earlier. Palantir said this was the first quarter in its history in which commercial revenue exceeded government revenue.
For full-year 2026, the company increased its revenue guidance to a range of $8.530 billion to $8.534 billion. Its revised U.S. commercial forecast calls for revenue above $3.559 billion, which Palantir said would amount to growth of at least 143%. Those figures are forecasts, rather than completed results; the company said actual results could vary materially from its estimates.
Palantir’s guidance issued on November 2 also put fourth-quarter revenue between $2.649 billion and $2.653 billion. For that quarter, management estimated adjusted operating income in a range of $1.640 billion to $1.644 billion. Both ranges concern the fourth quarter of 2026, not the reporting period that ended in September.
During the third quarter, Palantir said it completed 212 deals with individual values of $1 million or more. Within that group, 107 met the $5 million threshold, while 64 were valued at $10 million or above.
The company also put total contract value at $2.918 billion, a 6% increase from a year earlier. Palantir defines this measure using the potential value over each contract’s lifetime, assessed at signing. The calculation assumes that available contract options are exercised and that the agreements continue without termination.
Those assumptions carry qualifications: Palantir said most of its contracts contain provisions allowing termination, and the exercise of contract options is not guaranteed.
