LS Group organized its fifth annual Future Day on September 18, 2026, at LS Tower in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, bringing together employees to focus on innovation and the adoption of artificial intelligence in business operations.
The event included participation from approximately 500 employees, with Chairman Koo Ja-eun present. The gathering aimed to showcase new business ideas, research and development progress, and work-innovation outcomes across the group.
Chairman Koo Ja-eun addressed attendees, encouraging them to adapt quickly to changes driven by artificial intelligence. He stated the importance of enhancing productivity in both office and manufacturing environments and integrating AI into products and services to generate new value for customers.
During the performance-sharing portion of the event, presenters introduced 19 projects. These included initiatives such as an AI-based cable manufacturing system and a power protection platform designed for AI data centers. Demonstrations featured prototypes developed using AI coding and video content produced with AI tools.

Employees whose projects were recognized as outstanding will be appointed as LS Futurists. According to the company, these individuals will have the opportunity next year to visit industrial cities in China to benchmark local companies and practices.
Since its inception in 2022, LS Future Day has served as a platform for sharing innovative concepts in areas such as batteries, next-generation power solutions, and artificial intelligence. The event was established following Chairman Koo’s inauguration and is held annually.
Currently, seven projects are advancing through commercialization steps. Among these are LS Electric’s integrated solar power generation service platform and LS Mtron’s small tractor development for the North American market.
LS Group stated that the annual event continues to support the identification and development of new ideas, with a focus on leveraging AI to improve business operations and product offerings.
