AMD Q3 Revenue Rises 45% as Data Center Sales Grow
AMD’s third-quarter revenue reached $13.377 billion, a company-described quarterly record, with Data Center revenue rising 97% from a year earlier. The results, published on November 3, 2026, cover the quarter that ended September 26. AMD said total revenue increased 45% against the same period in 2025 and 16% against the previous quarter.
Revenue for the Data Center business amounted to $8.5 billion. AMD said demand for its EPYC processors, together with the introduction of Instinct MI450 Series GPUs, accounted for that segment’s increase. The company’s other businesses recorded different year-over-year results: Embedded revenue increased 29% to $1.1 billion, whereas Client and Gaming generated $3.7 billion, an 8% decline.
On earnings, AMD’s diluted per-share result under GAAP was $1.46, representing a 95% increase from a year earlier. The separate non-GAAP measure reached $2.09 per diluted share, a year-over-year increase of 74%.
The non-GAAP earnings result exceeded the $1.94-per-share Wall Street consensus cited by FXStreet. Revenue also came in above the $13.09 billion consensus in FXStreet’s account. Those estimates concern the third quarter and are distinct from AMD’s reported financial results.
In trading after the November 3 release, AMD shares initially gained nearly 7%, according to XTB. A separate Reuters account, carried by Investing.com, put the after-hours increase at 7.54% relative to the regular-session closing price.
For the fourth quarter of 2026, AMD’s revenue guidance centers on approximately $17 billion, allowing for a range of 3% above or below that amount. The company said revenue at the midpoint would be roughly 66% higher than in the corresponding quarter a year earlier and 27% above the third-quarter level.
AMD also put its fourth-quarter non-GAAP gross-margin forecast at approximately 55%. Both that margin projection and the revenue range are company guidance for the fourth quarter, rather than completed-quarter results.
